1. Lucayan Nature Tours
Come take your kids to some of the most undiscovered parts of Abaco. Your tour guide is an 8th generation Bahamian, with a passion for nature that his dad passed onto him. He will come pick you up from wherever you are staying. The tour will start in the morning, and you’ll have the choice of half or full day of adventures. 2. Brendal’s Dive Shop
Found on Green Turtle Cay. Brendal’s offers a variety of different tours that are sure to appeal to any member of the family looking for some adventure. They offer scuba dive and snorkel trips with freshly prepared seafood on the island for a fun beach BBQ, and hand feeding sting rays. A reef trip to encounter wild dolphins and a stop along the way to have lunch on an island. A fun Sunday island hopping trip that takes you to Guana Cay for Nippers Sunday wild boar pig roast and music at their beachfront restaurant and bar. There are pools and snorkeling found on the beach and along the way to Guana Cay, you will make a stop to feed the Abaco swimming pigs. These are just a few of the many excursions they offer. 3. Albert Lowe Museum
For the history buffs in the family look no further than Albert Lowe Museum. This is the first historic museum in the Bahamas, located in the heart of New Plymouth. In 1975 artist and Green Turtle Cay native Albert Lowe decided to purchase a 150 year old Loyalist home. He spent many years restoring it to in hopes soon house years of island history. Doing this through displaying photos, paintings, sculptures, artifacts, documents, quilts, artifacts and much more.

4. Loyalist Memorial Sculpture Garden
This garden is located not too far from the Albert Lowe Museum. This is also another project that Albert Lowe took on. This garden was created to act as a tribute to all of those who played such a large role in the history of The Abacos. There are 24 busts of prominent Bahamians all representing different Bahamian islands. The Loyalists and their slaves had a large impact on the development of a new life in the Bahamas. That is why they created a museum to honor them.

5. Sawmill Sink Blue Hole
Come experience an inland hole located near Marsh Harbour. If you are looking for a one-of-a-kind adventure look no further. So much history lies here that helps to explain what the Bahamas looked like before adapted by humans. There is no other blue hole on the island that has produced more quantity and quality of fossils than Sawmill. Go discover with the family what the Bahamas was like before us humans.

6. The Johnston Art Foundry
Go marvel in the art that Pete Johnson masterfully crafts himself. As he practices a wax technique going as far back as 5000 years. His father introduced him to this technique in 1952. See the world-renowned artwork him and his father have created throughout the years. It is tucked away in a secluded spot-on Little Harbor, that offers a family-owned pub and art gallery as well.
