Barrel Boss Wakesurf Competition Returns With New Location And Exciting Updates

AUSTIN, TX (September 5, 2024) – MarineMax brings back Central Texas’ longest-running wakesurf contest, Barrel Boss, on October 5, moving to a new home at Wakepoint on Lake LBJ. This event promises to be a day filled with thrilling action, family-friendly fun, and unbeatable opportunities to gear up for the season.

The competition will feature a variety of divisions, including Groms (12 and under), Juniors (16 and under), Interpretive (any age or gender, props, multiple riders, anything goes!), Beginners (under a year of wakesurfing experience), Open Men (16 and up), Open Women (16 and up), Open Veterans (40 and up), Adaptive Men (open to anyone with a physical disability), and Adaptive Women (same as above).
