MarineMax.com uses "cookies," which are small text files and a commonly used web technology that allow websites to store and retrieve certain information on a user’s system, as well as track online activities associated with our site. We, together with the vendors we use, may collect information about your use of our website, mobile app, and related services by automated means, including, but not limited to, cookies, pixels, and other similar technologies. Text messages: You have the right to choose who you receive texts from. MarineMax strives to make it easy to sign up to receive texts as well as opt out of text messages. Cookies: Web browsers may offer users the ability to disable certain types of cookies; however, if cookies are disabled, some features or functionality of our Services may not function correctly; and

7. State-Specific Rights

Certain State specific privacy laws may provide additional rights with respect to our collection and use of personal information. Please be advised that we will fulfill requests in our reasonable discretion or as otherwise required by applicable law. We do not use customers’ sensitive personal information (such as precise geo-location or financial information) except for the purposes it was collected and as otherwise permitted by law. California residents: Certain rights under California privacy laws apply to all individuals (not just retail customers), including job applicants, current and former employees, contractors and business partners. Nevada residents: We do not sell personal information as defined by Nevada law (Nevada Revised Statutes, Chapter 603A, Section 1.6). You can submit a request to us regarding the sale of such information by contacting us.

8. International Notice

Our services (such as our website) are controlled and operated by us from the United States (“US”), although we do have affiliates operating in other jurisdictions. In the event we receive personal information from a foreign jurisdiction under a contractual relationship, the contract will typically specify the privacy and security requirements and governing laws with respect to such information. In all other instances, this section addresses individuals residing outside of the US. a. Legitimate Bases for Processing
