Julie grew up going to boat shows and always enjoyed being around boats and on the water. She didn’t intend to seek a job in maritime law at first. After completing law school and passing the bar exam, she learned that a local firm in the marine industry was hiring. She interviewed and quickly fell in love with maritime law.
During her interview, Julie comments on why young professionals should consider choosing a career in the marine industry, “There are so many fulfilling career paths available in the marine industry that are vital to our society. The talented people in this business are amazing, and as cliché as it sounds, the possibilities are truly endless!”
