MIAMI, FL (December 19, 2019) – Santa made a pit-stop at MarineMax Miami for a special event dedicated to an exceptional foundation. 
 
The team at MarineMax Miami recently hosted a "Meet Santa" event benefiting The Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation. The kid-friendly event was filled with Christmas spirit and holiday activities like decorating gingerbread cookies, roasting s'mores, arts and crafts, yacht tours, and meeting the big guy himself!
 
"The holiday season is a great time of year to reflect and be thankful for what you have," begins Christian Gonzalez, MarineMax Miami General Manager. "Not everyone is as fortunate. We've partnered with the Live Like Bella Foundation on past projects, and it was the right fit to host a holiday event in their honor."
 
The Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation is a recognized leader in childhood cancer research and advocacy while providing financial and emotional support to families whose children are battling cancer. Bella Rodriguez-Torres touched so many lives in her short ten years, including LeBron James and Dwyane Wade, who both wrote #LiveLikeBella on their shoes during the NBA playoffs in 2013. The #LiveLikeBella movement was ignited. 
 
Gonzalez continues, "One of Bella's favorite things to do was to eat s'mores, so it was natural to include chocolate, marshmallow and graham crackers at our event. I'm happy to announce, we were able to donate a few hundred toys to the Live Like Bella Foundation. Thank you to everyone who came out to support."
