CHARLESTON, SC (August 13, 2020) – MarineMax Charleston plans to host a second blood drive to support the American Red Cross. 

Diana De Carvalho, MarineMax Regional Marketing Manager, states, "We hosted our first event in June and the turnout was so tremendous we decided to do it again. Our partnership with the American Red Cross has helped us as we continue to do our part in giving back to the community." 

The need for blood is constant, and patients continue to need lifesaving blood products. The American Red Cross needs your help by donating blood. They will be taking extra precautions based on new CDC recommendations, including social distancing, disinfecting surfaces between patients, temperature checking staff and donors, and encouraging donors to make appointments ahead of time to space out visits.
