MarineMax Lake Norman Welcomes New Roles
CORNELIUS, NC (June 15, 2022) – MarineMax Lake Norman welcomes Todd Ritter as their new General Manager.
Todd graduated from Appalachian State University and started his career with MarineMax Maryland and later transitioned to the Pensacola store as a Business Manager. In 2013 he moved to Charlotte, North Carolina and was recruited by the Hall Marine Group to develop and run their business office operations at all six Hall locations. After the MarineMax acquisition in 2018, Todd decided to expand his expertise and joined Hendrick Automotive Group, one of the country's largest auto dealers, known for excellence in customer service and process and procedure execution.
After several years in dealership management with Hendrick, Todd missed the boating lifestyle and re-joined the marine industry in 2020. Most recent Todd held a General Managers role at another successful marine dealership in the Florida panhandle selling top competitive brands.
Todd and his wife, Maggie, are both from Charlotte and are excited to move back home so their children, Nolan, and twins Hattie and Davis, can be closer to their grandparents and extended family. “It’s really exciting to be joining MarineMax Lake Norman. It feels like playing for the hometown team,” says Ritter.
Concurrent with Todd joining the team, Andy Tilton will move into the Fixed Operations Manager role at Lake Norman and oversee our service, parts, and storage business. Andy has a tremendous amount of passion, knowledge, and experience running service departments and will bring an increased focus on growing fixed operations revenue for the booming Charlotte and Lake Norman markets.
