Thomas Ortmann Named General Manager of MarineMax Rogers and MarineMax Excelsior

OLDSMAR, FL (August 6, 2025)— MarineMax has named Thomas “TJ” Ortmann as the new General Manager of MarineMax Rogers and MarineMax Excelsior, effective July 22, 2025.

    Ortmann brings more than 15 years of experience in marine sales and operations. He began his career as an Offsite Sales Team Lead at MarineMax Rogers in 2008, later serving as a Sales Consultant in Branson, Missouri. He rejoined Rogers in 2020 and has since held roles as Sales Manager and, most recently, Fixed Operations Manager for Rogers and Excelsior from 2022 to 2025.

“TJ’s dedication, experience, and commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences make him the perfect choice to lead our Rogers and Excelsior teams,” said Jay Rasmusson, Regional President & Vice President at MarineMax. “He’s built strong relationships with both customers and team members, and we’re confident he’ll continue to elevate both locations in his new leadership role.”

As General Manager, Ortmann will oversee day-to-day operations at both MarineMax Rogers and MarineMax Excelsior, with a focus on team development, customer service, and business growth.
