2009 Sea Ray 44 Sedan Bridge
With low hours (430) and having never been in a true saltwater/coastal environment, this classic 44 Sedan Bridge is the best example of it's kind on the market today.
Until 2015, the boat was a one-owner, freshwater boat kept in a covered slip; since 2015, the boat has been lightly used in the predominantly fresh waters of the Northern Chesapeake Bay by an experienced and meticulous owner. As a 2009, the boat has many technological, electronic, and engine upgrades since its debut in 2004. Most notably, it features the Cummins Digital Throttle & Shift engine binnacles, not available on previous years.
The boat boasts all the right options sought after in a 44 Sedan Bridge: bridge AC/Heat, twin Raymarine E120s, salon pull-out sofa, and a washer/dryer, among others. An atrium, sunken galley gives the salon the feeling of that on a much larger boat. The perfect size, the 44 is a very manageable yacht for two, but is also loaded with features and amenities that make it comfortable for extended stays aboard for multiple guests.
This iconic sedan bridge exemplifies the bold, cutting-edge styling and lush accommodations boaters have come to expect from Sea Ray. By any standard, the 440 is a strikingly handsome design both inside and out. Fitted with twin Cummins QSC 500s, the boat will push 30 knots wide open and cruise comfortably around 25-26 knots. With the desirable direct drive setup, engine weight is kept forward in the boat, making it more stable and seaworthy than a pod or V-drive transmission.
Wood floors, oversized windows, and plush Ultraleather sofas are just a few of the luxuriues found in the spacious cabin. A raised dining area provides a panoramic view of the outdoors. The decor is highlighted by deep-pile carpeting and high-gloss cherry cabinets. A guest cabin to port houses two single beds that can, with a filler cushion, provide a single large berth instead. The master stateroom features a queen-size island berth and en suite access to the master head. Both heads are fitted with showers, and the optional washer-dryer is hidden under the galley steps.
A sliding glass door opens to the cockpit with a wide walk-through transom, transom bench seat, and molded flybridge steps. Offering good viability fore and aft, the extended flybridge includes a large U-shaped aft seat with removable table.
