MarineMax Clearwater has successfully raised over $5,000 in support of Relay For Life. Proceeds accumulated from several events hosted at the MarineMax Clearwater store during the month of April, including a Premier Jewelry event, and donations from the sales team for each boat sold. 

“Having served the Tampa Bay area for over 30 years, we are happy to give back to the community that has supported us for so long”, stated Jack Ezzell, MarineMax Clearwater General Manager. 

Relay For Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society. This is a community event where people come together to celebrate cancer survivors in our communities, remember those in our lives that have been touched by cancer, and raise money to fund research to fight back. The overnight event symbolizes that cancer never sleeps, and every dawn of a new day brings hope.

“We’d like to thank everyone who helped us in our mission of raising funds for this great cause. It is because of you that we have been able to make this impact”, said Michael Dickinson, sales consultant and MarineMax Clearwater relay team leader. 

Proceeds from Relay For Life benefit the American Cancer Society by providing those who are touched by cancer the resource that they need. These resources include transportation, lodging, coaching, courses, question hotline, and more. 

MarineMax Clearwater is happy to support the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life, and plans on participating in the years to come.
