MarineMax Debuts New Models in Annapolis

ANNAPOLIS, MD (October 4, 2021) – MarineMax Kent Island and MarineMax Baltimore plan to debut several new models at the 2021 United States Powerboat Show in Annapolis, MD. Boat show attendees can expect to see new models from Cruisers Yachts, Bertram, and Scout.

The newly acquired Cruisers Yachts, a MarineMax company, is known for innovative, hand-crafted, American-made yachts. They plan to debut their all-new 34 GLS during the show. New models are all about innovation and the subsequent progression of features that enhance the boating lifestyle, and the new 34 GLS is no exception. It is an excellent platform for daytime entertaining for the entire family plus a few friends. Topside amenities include a galley, versatile seating in the bow, and under the standard hardtop to the rear-facing cockpit seats. Below deck you have room to take a break from the sun or spend the weekend. The full-sized head is a bonus and not something you often see on a boat this size. At 34-feet, the 34 GLS is the perfect size to handle the bay chop and explore all the rivers and estuaries the Chesapeake has to offer.

Michael Gisch, MarineMax Maryland General Manager comments, “We are very excited about the release of the all-new 34 GLS. Boats are all about fun and family time. The versatility of the 34 GLS will help increase that. With all the new technology packed into the 34 GLS, novice boaters can quickly gain expert boating skills.”

Also making a debut for the first time is the Bertram 28CC. The vessel features all the essentials a fisherman needs and room to entertain up to 12 people. With a fully enclosed head, wide beam with wraparound bow seating, and dive-door exits on both sides, this boat is as comfortable chasing the sunset as it is chasing fish.

Showing for the first time in the Mid-Atlantic market, the Scout 350 LXZ S-Class Luxury Crossover model is the initial debut of the all-new LXZ Series. This sophisticated masterpiece is a high-end day cruiser, ideal for refined entertainment, with overnight accommodations should you choose to extend your adventures.

Gisch continues, “Like many industries today, we don’t have stock inventory on the ground. We view this as a great opportunity for our clients. They can build and option their boat exactly how they want, no need to settle for what is in stock. Manufactured-to-order lends itself to a better overall customer experience. With the number of new boaters joining the lifestyle, this type of experience allows us to set the tone to ensure they find their love of the water and remain lifelong boaters.”

The Annapolis Boat Shows host several annual maritime industry events, including the United States Powerboat Show. This in-person event will engulf the Annapolis City Docks from October 7 to 10, 2021. Lead times range from a month to over a year, so if you are looking to be on the water in the summer of 2022, don’t delay getting your order in. The Annapolis Boat Show is a perfect place to take full advantage of the inventory on display and secure your new vessel for next summer’s boating season.
