First up, the National Marine Representatives Association recently announced $3,000 scholarship to outstanding students pursuing education and a career in the marine trades. High school seniors and college and vocational students are encouraged to apply HERE [LINK: bit.ly/2021-NMRA-Scholarship] before April 1, 2021. Scott Kolodny, NMRA president, comments, "We've awarded students working towards a wide range of careers including boatbuilding, marine logistics, naval design, and the Merchant Marines. NMRA members place a priority on the future of the marine industry, and the annual scholarship is the commitment we've made to the next generation of leaders." These scholarships are made possible through the generous support of several NMRA member rep groups and marine manufacturers.

Next up, the National Marine Manufacturers Association announced a partnership with Informa Markets to merge the Miami International Boat Show and Miami Yacht Show, including Superyacht Miami, creating one of the largest marine events in the world.
