MarineMax Stores Receive Marine Dealer Award
MarineMax is proud to announce the acceptance of the first annual 2016 Marine Industry Customer Satisfaction (CSI) Dealer Awards. This award is presented to dealerships that provided excellence in customer service for the areas of sales and/or service in the year 2016.
“We are honored to have twenty-five of our stores receiving this award for their continuous customer service. At MarineMax we pride ourselves on not only selling boats, but on being the top boating resource by providing the boating lifestyle with events, vacations, classes, and so much more”, stated Brett McGill, MarineMax Chief Operating Officer. “The teams at our stores work hard so we can offer each customer the best experience possible, and we recognized the role that every team member has in achieving this. Each boat and owner are supported by our team of sales consultants, service technicians, event coordinators, general managers and more”, continued McGill.
The Marine Industry CSI Dealer Award honors dealerships that actively measure customer satisfaction and pursue continuous improvement to better serve the customer. MarineMax stores are being awarded for having effectively met the needs of their customers and providing them with superior customer service.

Dealers were eligible to win the award in both the Sales and Service areas of their dealership. Recipients achieved an independently-measured standard of excellence of 90 percent or higher, with the required return percentages, over the past program year. Data was collected as part of a survey among customers purchasing a new boat or engine during the period between January 1, 2016 and December 31, 2016. For this reporting period, the program surveyed more than 122,000 customers.
