Free Seminar: Catching Sheepshead & Spanish Mackerel

Join MarineMax Panama City Beach and host Bob Fowler for the first free seminar of the 2017 year, "Catching Sheepshead & Spanish Mackerel" on Saturday, February 11th!

Tom Putnam, resident professional fishing instructor & owner of "Half-Hitch Tackle" Stores will teach you the trade secrets to catching Sheepshead, Spanish Mackerel, and other winter fish in our beautiful Panhandle Bays. The event is free to the public and attendees will receive special discount coupon cards for any Half-Hitch Tackle Store, along with illustrated instructional sheets to follow along and take notes during the seminar.

The seminar will cover:
-Winter Fishing techniques for these disparate fish species
-Methodology (using various rods, reels, tackle, and bait)
-Proper tackle, bait presentation, and landing techniques

Winter brings colder weather that drive many game fish to warmer waters. However, Sheepshead can be found inshore lurking around structures and historically, Spanish mackerel will soon be making an appearance in early Spring.

Each participant will receive: A special seminar discount coupon valid at any Half-Hitch Tackle stores, Printed materials and instructional sheets to keep, Complimentary beverages (water, soda, coffee, tea). As always, professional vocalist Bob Fowler will provide entertainment during the halftime break.
