To ensure that young boaters feel safe and confident in their roles as honorary first mates, we proudly offer a Kids Boating Class! This specially designed course is exclusively for children and takes a fun and educational approach to learning the rules of the water. This course will be taught for kids 8 - 13 years old.  

MarineMax Kids Boating class covers topics such as:   

• Safety 
• “Rules of the road” 
• Basic knot tying 
• Boating terminology 
• Boat handling

Here at MarineMax, we feel that boating really is an activity for the entire family. Getting kids comfortable with boating and being on the water at a young age not only allows you to enjoy your time together on the water together, but also makes boating a part of their lives for years to come.
