New York State Boating Safety Class

Did you know all motor boat operators, regardless of age, will need a boating safety certificate beginning in 2025? Well, we’re here to help and make sure your time on the water is not only fun but safe! 

The New York State Boating Safety Class will take place at the American Legion Huntington Post 360 on Saturday, April 26th, from 9AM-5PM. 

We will provide you with the Boat America textbook, along with lunch and refreshments. 

The cost is $45 for MarineMax Customers* and $55 for all non-MarineMax Customers. 

Please note:

  • Registration is required; space is limited and will fill on a first-come, first-served basis. 
  • After completing the course, you will need to pay an additional $10 to New York State to receive your official license in the mail.
