Safe Boating Basics

MarineMax is teaming up with Boatwise to host a Safe Boating Basics Training Course on Saturday, January 22 from 8am-5pm at MarineMax in Danvers, Massachusetts. Whether you're new to boating or a life-long boater in need of a refresher, we’re here to help you stay safe on the water this summer! Learn the aspects of boating safely and legally in ONE DAY of classroom instruction. A "must" for all boaters, all ages, not to mention this class usually lowers your boat insurance premium.

Cost is $60 and there will be a 50 question NASBLA test at the end of the class which will result in a Certificate of Completion issued to each participant. Additionally, each participant will have the opportunity to take a 10 question Massachusetts Environmental Police test. Massachusetts approved for young operator's permit (age 12-16). Approved for all ages in Rhode Island.

Class size is limited. To register for this event, please contact Greta Andrews at 732.451.3922 or email greta.andrews@marinemax.com to ensure that your spot is reserved.
