MarineMax Danvers is teaming up with the Captains from Boatwise to teach our Advanced Coastal Navigation class Saturday, May 4 from 8am to 4pm. Continued instruction from where beginner coastal navigation leaves off. Topics include: tide and current calculations, determining corrections for set and drift before departure and once underway, running fixes and advancing lines of position, restricted visibility piloting, two and three-point fixes. This 8-hour curriculum includes 2 to 3 hours of hands-on chart work using skills taught. All materials included. 

This informative session is offered on a reservation basis. The instructors are all USCG certified captains from Boatwise, Inc., New England's premier boating education company. After the class is completed, a Certificate of Completion will be emailed to each participant.
