Advanced Coastal Navigation

Continued instruction from where basic coastal navigation leaves off. Topics include: tide and current calculations, determining corrections for set and drift before departure and once underway, running fixes and advancing lines of position, restricted visibility piloting, two and three-point fixes. This 8-hour curriculum includes 2 to 3 hours of hands-on chart work using skills taught. All materials included.
