Women on Water®️

MarineMax’s exclusive Women on Water®️ (WOW) courses are designed to get women behind the helm and enjoying the boating lifestyle. The classes are offered at many of our locations throughout the country and are taught by U.S. Coast Guard licensed captains who have been certified by MarineMax to conduct the lessons. These small group seminars, for women only, are designed to build confidence by presenting information in an active, fun, and supportive environment.

This class has a two-part structure with boat a classroom and on-water session. While the on-water session provides a more hands-on teaching style, the classroom session allows us to go over all need-to-know information. There will also be a designated Q&A portion of the class that leaves room for any specific questions or concerns you may have. This interactive class covers a variety of topics including:

• Boat handling & operation
• Local knowledge
• Navigational techniques
• Boat orientation & safety
• Many more!
