Join MarineMax Cocoa for a Navigating at Night Class designed to help boaters operate safely and confidently after sunset. This class focuses on the unique challenges of nighttime boating along Florida’s waterways and nearshore environments.
Topics include understanding navigation lights, channel markers, and day shapes, using electronics effectively at night, interpreting radar and chartplotters in low visibility, and maintaining proper lookout and situational awareness. We will also cover speed management, communication, and strategies for identifying hazards that are harder to see after dark.
