Jarmuz joined MarineMax in 2022 as the Marketing Technology Manager and was promoted to Director, where he leads the strategy that connects data, digital platforms, and performance marketing across the retail organization. Under his direction, MarineMax modernized its digital ecosystem, advancing CRM strategy, automation workflows, website performance, and AI-driven marketing initiatives that improve how the company captures, nurtures, and converts leads at scale.
"Ted represents the next generation of marine leadership, one that understands how data and technology enhance relationship-driven sales as well as how to leverage it to drive innovation to simplify what can be an overwhelming purchase journey," said Amanda Ward, Vice President of Business Solutions.
Before entering the marine industry, Jarmuz built his expertise at some of the nation's premier professional sports organizations, holding digital leadership roles at Pegula Sports and Entertainment supporting the Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres, and earlier with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He brought that same enterprise-level discipline to MarineMax, integrating automation, CRM intelligence, and AI into a traditionally relationship-first industry to redefine how marine retailers engage new and existing audiences. In 2024, he was selected as a featured speaker at the Sitecore Symposium in Nashville, where his session "MarineMax Charts Its Course to Digital Success" showcased the company's digital transformation journey and positioned MarineMax as a leader in digital excellence within the marine retail space.
Beyond his professional contributions, Jarmuz is an active community leader. He serves as a Board Member for the Plaza Shamrock Neighborhood Association in Charlotte, NC, managing the organization's digital presence to strengthen resident engagement, and volunteers regularly with Charlotte's "Keep Charlotte Beautiful" initiative and Habitat for Humanity in the Tampa Bay area through MarineMax's corporate social responsibility program.
