Lake Minnetonka is your chance to showcase your skills and win big without ever leaving the water! This is Minnesota's first-ever virtual wakesurf contest and is open to riders of all levels.
Here's how it works:
- Submit up to two minutes of your best raw wakesurf footage by July 15th.
- Our pro production team will transform your clips into a sick highlight reel.
- A panel of judges will score your video based on difficulty, intensity, variety, and execution (80% of total score).
- Rack up views on YouTube and earn points for your video (20% of total score) - the more people who see your skills, the higher you climb the leaderboard!
The grand prize? Your share of a $1,000 cash purse and ultimate bragging rights!

Submit your best riding highlight reel by July 15th for a chance to top the leaderboard. Here's how you can earn points:
Video Views (20% of Score): Get your fans watching! The more views your video gets on YouTube, the higher your score.
- 20,000+ views: 10 Points (Max Score)
- 10,000-19,999 views: 8 Points
- 5,000-9,999 views: 6 Points
- 1,000-4,999 views: 3 Points
Judges' Score (80% of Score): Our expert panel will evaluate your video based on:
- Difficulty: Challenge yourself with impressive tricks.
- Intensity: Show us your passion and power.
- Variety: Keep it interesting with a diverse range of moves.
- Execution: Land your tricks flawlessly with style and control
Nautique Regatta at the St. Alban’s Bay Sandbar
Mark your calendars for the Nautique Regatta at St. Alban's Bay Sandbar on Saturday, August 17th from 11 AM to 4 PM. This gathering offers a chance to enjoy a day on the water at a popular Minnesota sandbar. More details to come!

Saturday, August 17th from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM at Excelsior BrewingWe're celebrating the release of the MarineMax Barrel Boss video highlight reels, showcasing the best of Minnesota's first virtual wakesurf contest.
But that's not all! This night will also be a fundraiser for Wake for Warriors, an incredible non-profit that supports veterans and their families through therapeutic wakesurfing programs. Founded in 2012 by veterans themselves, Wake for Warriors fosters healing and camaraderie through the power of water sports.
Join us for an evening of fun, community, and giving back as we celebrate virtual surf champions and raise awareness for this important cause.
