Boating Resolutions Guide for 2024

Happy New Year! Have you thought about your New Year’s Resolution yet? If not, why not make it a boater’s one? Now that the holidays are over, it’s the perfect time to focus on relaxing and fun activities or ones that can be a learning experience. Since there’s a lot to do in the boating world, we wanted to help spark some ideas you never thought of or inspire you to do something you’ve always wanted—whether it is an upgrade to your boat, going on a boatcation, and more!

Here is a list of a few boating resolutions to get you started and think about your boating goals in 2024:

I will take my boat on the water much more this year and make the most of my time with family and friends.

I want to catch a bigger fish than last year and break my own record!

I'd like to 'camp' on my boat overnight this year and sleep under the stars on the water.

I’ve been wanting more technology and exciting new accessories to spruce up my boat, and I’m finally going to do it!

This year, I plan to relax more out on the water and enjoy nature.

I want to enhance my boating skills and plan to take advantage of some of the free boating classes at MarineMax!

I’m going to take my extended family members and friends out on the water and show them that boating is fun!

I will have a cookout with my friends and grill a delicious meal out on the water this year!

I’m going to be brave and try one of these state-of-the-art water toys!

 I plan to give my boat more TLC this year, and even if I don’t have time to do it myself, I know I can schedule maintenance and other services through MarineMax.

This year, I am going to discover the best fishing spot and catch more than ever!

I am going to challenge myself and learn how to wakeboard.

I plan to explore more on the water and find new boating destinations outside my local area.
