Scott graduated with a degree in marketing from Florida State University. He joined the MarineMax team in 1992 and quickly realized his passion for getting people out on the water to experience the boating dream. Scott now specializes in the luxury yacht market, providing high quality brands and exceptional service to clients around the globe. MarineMax has made a statement in the yachting world, and this has given Scott the opportunity to offer brands with exceptional craftsmanship and prestigious reputations to his current and potential clients. These brands include Ocean Alexander, Hatteras, Azimut, Benetti, WIDER, and Galeon brands, as well as a partnership with Fraser and Northrop & Johnson.

Besides the boating retail business, Scott's passions are spending time on the water with his family, golfing, and snow skiing. Scott and his wife, Misty, have two sons.
