Gregg Kopp

Born and raised on the waters of Miami, FL, Gregg Kopp has lived the boating lifestyle from an early age. By the age of eight, he was already captaining his father’s shrimp boat, spending summers harvesting sponges and catching shrimp, lobster, and crab throughout Biscayne Bay. 

For more than two decades, Gregg has built a career at MarineMax grounded in trust, integrity, and lasting relationships. His dedication and expertise have earned him recognition through awards such as the Top Gun and Chairman’s Circle honors, but what sets him apart most is the loyalty of clients who return year after year, whether to upgrade their vessel or simply share their latest adventures on the water. 

An avid offshore yachtsman, Gregg knows the waters of Miami, The Bahamas, and the Florida Keys like few others. He often leads MarineMax Getaways!®, where he helps families and friends discover the joy of exploring new destinations by boat. 

When he’s not guiding others, Gregg is happiest spending time on the water with his wife, Amy, and their three children. Married for 30 years, the Kopps share a love of boating that continues to shape their family life. For Gregg, being on the water isn’t just a career, it’s a way of life.
