MarineMax Yachts Announces Sale of Ocean Alexander 35R, Hull #10
OLDSMAR, FL (May 28, 2026)— MarineMax Yachts is pleased to announce the successful sale of a 2026 Ocean Alexander 35R, hull #10, completed by James Corts out of MarineMax Naples.

The buyers, new to the Ocean Alexander brand, were introduced to MarineMax Yachts through an outside broker. Previously owners of a Viking Convertible, they explored several options, including a number of prominent Italian builders, before finding their ideal match in the 35R. It was the vessel's distinctive styling and exceptional volume that set it apart, a combination they found unmatched by any other builder in its class. The new owners plan to use the vessel for private and family enjoyment.
Throughout the process, the buyers came to appreciate the full breadth of MarineMax's support, from service through aftersales, which proved instrumental in navigating a transaction of this scale.
The Ocean Alexander 35R closing is one of two sales James completed this month, also including the sale of a 2023 Azimut 25 Magellano.
Other noteworthy sales from the previous month were Jared Simpson’s 2026 Azimut SeaDeck 7 out of MarineMax Boston, Gregg Kopp’s 2025 Azimut 26 Meter out of MarineMax Miami, and Tyler Hill’s 2025 Azimut S8 out of MarineMax Pompano.
