Heesen Project Akira, YN 20457 Sold

NAPLES, FL (April 11, 2023) – Northrop & Johnson and MarineMax are proud to announce the sale of Project Akira, YN 20457, by Yacht Brokers Wes Sanford of Northrop & Johnson and James Corts of MarineMax, acting on behalf of the buyer.

The first of Heesen’s all-aluminum 57-meter fast yacht series Project Akira features an ultra-efficient, lightweight, Fast Displacement Hull Form. She has an enclosed volume of approximately 780 GT. The yacht also features a shallow draft, allowing for cruising worldwide Construction of this yacht began in February 2022.

    “YN 20457 Project Akira is the first in a new class of yachts, which we have carefully studied and engineered to deliver optimum luxury on the water,” said Heesen CCO Mark Cavendish. We look forward to working with the Owners and their families to build a yacht that will provide many days of happy sailing and create long-lasting memories.” The yacht welcomes 12 guests in six staterooms, including a 63-square-meter main-deck owner’s apartment. The yacht also has a bridge-deck VIP suite. All additional staterooms are located below deck. All decks can be accessed by a stainless steel and glass elevator.
