Intro to Boating on Lake Hopatcong
At one point or another, everyone who loves boating had to get on the water for the first time. That is why MarineMax Lake Hopatcong is offering an Intro to Boating class on May 8th, from 11am-3pm. This class is designed for people using their boat on Lake Hopatcong, brand new to boating, or for those who have not been on the water for a while and would like a refresher course. It teaches beginning boaters the basics to get them confident on the water, and feeling comfortable and safe behind the helm.
Through lectures and on-water demonstrations, our Intro to Boating class will cover topics like:
* Handling and operation
* Boat terminology
* Safety
* Docking
* Basic maintenance
* Rules of the water
* Boat features and parts
* Much more
