Marine Electronics

MarineMax Danvers is teaming up with Boatwise to host a Marine Electronics Class on Saturday, February 26 from 8:30am-5pm at the latest. Safety on the water is very important and we encourage all our customers to take advantage of these courses to continually hone in on their boat handling and navigational skills. This is a course for everyone who wants to understand the current technologies in use on the water.

Marine electronics can be confusing to new or first-time boat owners and today's electronics usually have multiple technologies available in the display. This one-day class is designed to provide an overview of the current marine electronics technologies including: Chartplotters, Radar, AIS, (DSC) VHF Radio, Fishfinders, Autopilots, and more. It is the most comprehensive class on your vessel's electronics available today.  An experienced instructor will help make the technology understandable, and help you to plan for your own equipment choices with an emphasis on safety.

This informative session is offered on a reservation basis; with a credit card deposit of $115 per person upon registration. The instructors are all USCG certified captains from Boatwise, Inc., New England's premier boating education company. After the class is completed, a Certificate of Completion will be emailed to each participant. There is no testing required with this topic.

As class size is limited, please register by filling out the form below and call our store at (781) 395-0050 to make a deposit to reserve your spot. Following registration, an email will be sent containing instructions for the class from Boatwise.
