Barrel Boss Virtual Contest - Wake Transitions

September's theme for our Barrel Boss Virtual Contest is Wake Transitions. This is using your skills to creatively go wake to wake or, if you're on a surfboard, switching sides. This contest is open to ALL water sports so grand your favorite board and get to switching!

Here’s how it works:

  1. To qualify for tournament entry:

    1. Submit an unedited video of your best water sports run that does not exceed one minute and with the theme in mind. Practice it as many times as you want, but only send one video per division.

    2. Only the first one minute of video will be judged.

    3. One rider per video

  2. The video should be shot from a spectator’s perspective inside the boat.

  3. Film it with anything.  We will not be judging the quality of the video, but if we can’t see the rider, we can’t judge the rider.

  4. Participants must visibly wear a coast guard approved life jacket.

  5. Please create a share link for your video (via Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, Onedrive, etc.)  and submit using the online form.

  6. Accepted file types: MP4, MPEG4, or MOV

  7. Please name your video file with your name.

  8. All videos must be submitted by September 30th.

  9. We will judge the videos the same way we judge a live competition: best ride wins.

There are no divisions for the virtual contest.  Everyone is in the same bucket and we will be judging and awarding prizes for skill and creativity.
