Introduced in 1999, the Sea Ray 460 Sundancer quickly became one of the most popular large domestic express yachts, offering classic American sportboat styling, luxury-class accommodations, and state-of-the-art construction. More conservative in appearance than many European express yachts of the era, its wide beam and expansive two-stateroom, two-head layout provide impressive interior space that narrower imports couldn't match. Sea Ray's interiors are among the best in the buisness, and the 460's accomodations reflect that-its mid-stateroom includes an enclosed head, standard washer/dryer, and sliding pocket-door privacy, while both the salon and mid-stateroom sofas convert to double berths at the touch of a button. In the cockpit, opposing aft sofas convert electrically into a huge sun pad, a gas-assist hatch allows easy engine-room access, and an extended swim platform came standard.
