This month, Azimut Yachts will launch its latest flybridge model, the Azimut 50, which it will begin displaying at boat shows this fall. The exterior designer Stefano Righini based the yacht’s appearance on that of the popular Azimut 80. The resulting design features large mirrored windows and an expansive 188-square-foot flybridge with plenty of room for lounging. A large sundeck dominates the ship’s bow, while its stern is equipped with an outdoor dining area. The main deck—decorated in light cream colors set against dark leathers and wood paneling—consists of a saloon, a dining area, and the cockpit. The lower deck is equipped with a galley and three cabins, including the full-beam owner’s cabin. The boat cruises at about 26 knots, though it can reach 30 knots when its twin 670 hp Volvo engines are pushed to their limits. See renderings at Robb Report.
