Labor Day at Bimini Bay
|
Date:
September 3 - 6, 2010
On Bimini Island, you'll find more fishing, diving, sailing and more to do per square mile than anywhere in The Bahamas Out Islands. Bimini Island is the true Island in the Stream, perched about 2 hours off the coast by boat from Ft Lauderdale or Miami with crystal clear waters. The Gulf Stream rushes north, washing past Bimini Island, feeding and warming its coral reefs and serving as a watery highway for everything from marlin to manta rays, dolphin to sea turtles. Its unique location coupled with a roguish history makes Bimini the Out Islands favorite diving and fishing frontier outpost.
After a day of swimming or exploring on Friday we will have a docktail party and then venture to the Marina Village or in town for a night of fun. Saturyda we will explore the Sapona concrete ship, raft up at Honeymoon Harbor or take ups some lobstering. Sunday we can continue to explore the islands or check ou the beaches of bimini Bay. Group farewell party Sunday evening. Call Dan Aultman to sign up for some fun. 772-287-4495.
