MarineMax is excited to have recently become a Mako dealer, offering Mako boats for sale at 25 locations spanning nine states and growing.
Mako has been designing and building world-class fishing boats since 1966, and today you will find them in every port where serious anglers gather. Strength and durability are driving forces in all of Mako's models, so it's not uncommon to see these boats still fishing after 20, 30 or even 40 years!
The 2011 line-up features nine models of inshore and offshore boats from 18 to 28 feet. This includes the NMMA Innovation Award Winner Mako 18 LTS and the completely redesigned flagship Mako 284. Two boats, the 1901 Tunnel Inshore and 2201 Tunnel Inshore, boast shallow-draft tunnel hulls that allow owners to fish skinny waters that bigger boats are usually forced to avoid.
After more than 40 years, you might expect an attitude of complecency, but instead Mako challenges its team of top marine designers, engineers and manufacturing experts to use all they have learned during the production of thousands of boats and combine it with technological advances to create the finest fishing boats to ever carry the Mako name.
