A Clamming Adventure & Clambake Celebration

Ahoy, fellow seafood enthusiasts!

 

You’re invited to a day of clamming on the picturesque Great Salt Pond in Wakefield, RI, followed by a mouthwatering clambake at MarineMax Wakefield. It’s a chance to get your hands dirty, enjoy the salty breeze, and indulge in the freshest clams around! Departing MarineMax Wakefield at 10:30am, we will return by 2:00pm for the clambake! 

 

Important Note: Non-residents of Rhode Island will need to obtain a shellfish license from the state of Rhode Island prior to the event. 


What to bring:

  • Sunscreen and hats
  • Comfortable clothes and shoes that can get wet
  • A cooler for any clams you collect
  • Your appetite for a fantastic clambake
